Scott Jaffa
PARTNER
Scott Jaffa is a Principal and Chief Architect. With an impressive resume and more than 20 years in the building industry, Scott has earned a reputation for excellence by incorporating unique and lasting designs into quality building construction. In addition to being recognized as an award-winning architect, Mr. Jaffa’s professional experience includes all facets of design build, including site acquisition, land planning, job cost estimating and budget analysis, design, and construction.

Dan Hazard
MANAGING PARTNER
Dan Hazard is a Principal and Director of Operations. Mr. Hazard is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of company projects, including property acquisitions, zoning and planning relations, construction management, job budget performance, sales and marketing, and neighborhood outreach. He has a complete understanding of the policies and procedures of the D.C. Office of Planning, D.C. Board of Zoning Adjustment, D.C. Historic Preservation Review Board, local advisory neighborhood commissions and community organizations essential to the firm’s overall success.

He has extensive experience effectively coordinating the residential and commercial development process. Before co-founding Dan Scott Development, Mr. Hazard was Managing Member of Capital Investment Properties – a commercial building company located in Columbia, Maryland, where he served as managing member.
